Eligible residents earn 30% to 80% of area median income with rents ranging from $391 per month to $1,175 per month, depending on income restriction and size of unit. MSHDA recognized the potential impact that Woodward Way would make in addressing a critical need for affordable housing in the Meridian Township community where rents are quickly rising. Woodward Way also has onsite management and maintenance by Woda Management & Real Estate to assist residents who are now in the process of moving into the property.įinancing for the $13.9 million property was supported with federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credits allocated by MSHDA through its competitive Qualified Allocation Plan to identify where expanded affordable housing is most needed in the state. Community amenities offer residents access to an onsite multipurpose room with kitchenette, laundry facility, playground, and a picnic area with tables and grills. There are five units with features for residents with physical and one for those with sight/hearing disabilities. The property is expected to be certified LEED Silver.Īpartments are designed with contemporary finishes, including quality cabinetry and luxury vinyl tile.
